Jean-Calixte Gros is a French-born actor and director, based in Paris. His experiences abroad and linguistic abilities made him an international artist, acting in English, Arabic and Spanish. After completing a degree in Arabic and International Relations at uni, he decided to train as an actor and got into one of Paris’ most renowned theatre schools, le Cours Simon. After Three years of training, Jean-Calixte started his career in a successful independent short film, « Echo », by Hadrien Fiere and in French television for different advertising campaigns such as the award-winning « Mais t’es fou », directed by Katia Lewkowicz for Intermarché in 2023.

His authenticity and emotional depth could be witnessed in Musset's play « Les Caprices de Marianne » by la compagnie du Souffle Au Coeur, performed in one of Paris’ hottest venues, le théâtre des Mathurins in May 2024, where he delivered a powerful performance.

Jean-Calixte's eagerness to learn, pushed him to train in screenwriting to which he has been dedicating most of his time lately.
